To determine the stabilizer concentration in the pool water, it is recommended to use a reliable test kit. The included chart should be followed to bring the pool water to the desired range of 40-100 ppm.

If the pool is new, just refilled, or has no stabilizer, it is advised to add 4 oz. of this product per 1,000 gallons to achieve the desired range of 40-100 ppm. The product should be added slowly into the skimmer, or if desired, it can be pre-mixed in a pail of warm water and then added directly to the skimmer. Ensure that the filter is clean, and recirculate the water continuously for 24 hours to allow for complete dissolution.

It is crucial to always maintain the chlorine residual in your pool at 2.0-4.0 ppm and the pH at 7.4-7.6.

The product is a cyanuric acid for pools, which helps reduce chlorine loss. The recommended cyanuric acid level is 40-100 ppm, and 6 ounces of the product can raise the cyanuric acid level by 10 ppm per 5,000 gallons of water. This increase in cyanuric acid level decreases chlorine loss due to sunlight, reducing chlorine consumption by up to 25% and improving the effectiveness of chlorine.
